I guess this is the part where I introduce you to my world? Let’s start with basics.
Me:
My name is Ieva Grigalune. I am 26 years old Latvian, a Risk Manager in a loan marketplace from 9-5 and spend my free time doing things I am passionate about:
- Playing beach volleyball;
- Reading books on the financial mindset or emotional drama;
- Learning about new technology advancements;
- Planning my next beach holiday;
- Baking cakes and
- Searching my way to financial freedom.
What brings me here:
Probably most of us have experienced the dreaded number of 0.01 EUR in your bank account at the end of the month. Though you still have 1 or even 2 weeks till the next salary? Thank God if all the mandatory invoices are covered. Yet you still have to eat and dream about your own place or pamper yourself at the end of the gruesome day at work.
As you might guess, I still deal with the challenges related to personal finance, balancing my lifestyle with my current budget and investing long-term.
Why are we here:
Seems like I have embarked on this journey for a while now, experienced failures and successes, for example, investing in my first real estate purchase or saving 50% of my income. I believe it is now a time to create a knowledge sharing environment for people going through the same struggles in the world of capitalism.
